  Week 6 Baseball Recap The Bobcats ended the rain soaked week 16-8 and 10-0 in District play after wins over Glencliff and David Lipscomb. Overton played a rain delayed doubleheader against Glencliff on Wednesday. The Bobcats took the 1st game 18-0 in 5 innings with Jacob Blackwell (0 Hits, 3BB, 5K) getting the win and Bryson Davis (1 Hit, 7K) pitching the final 3.   Wray, Davis, Blackwell, Mast and Williams all contributed 2 RBIs each in the game. Monday the Overton bobcat’s baseball team played McGavock at home at 7. The bobcats came out on top with a 5-3 win over the raiders. Jacob Blackwell pitched 6 scoreless innings, giving up only 2 hits in the outing while striking out 4 and walking 3. He threw 106 pitches in total. Tuesday the guys played at McGavock at 4:30. They came out on top 11-5. Austin Hensley got the start on the mound, going 3.1 innings and giving up 5 hits, 4 runs, and striking out 1.
