The Tennessee Titan Walker in conjunction with Fundamentals Football future football stars for a series of non-contact day of skills building for the the popular sport.

FUNdamentals, a program that  introduces children to football by teaching basic skills in a FUN and energetic environment was a huge success despite the heat typical of Nashville July day.

The young players and coaches of all ages breezed through drills that taught heads up football, passing and receiving skills, despite the heat.

Players who registered for the free camp were taught by certified clinicians who “use a series of drills to show passing, catching and running skills in a non-contact setting”.

The skills and drills chosen by the clinicians on Saturday were selected based on the AUSA Football’s Player Progression Development Model, “ensuring children are learning in an age-appropriate manner and creating an ideal atmosphere for FUN.”

Not to be missed was the gatorade dousing of ‘Coach’ Walker. The participants went nuts when Walker’s fellow coaches snuck up behind him and soaked him with the cooler full of the bright green Gatorade.

Following the drills and teaching moments, players were given a #backtoschoolblitz T-shirt, lunch from Subway.
